NORCOP

NORCOP is a company who develops, manufactures and sells plastic films and sheets coated with functionalized nano-layers. The later confer to the surface permanent specific characteristics such as wetting, adhesion, release, anti-fog, barriers and much others. In particular, NORCOP is developing polyester grades exhibiting enhanced adhesion with conductive inks for the printed electronics industry.

NORCOP is specialized in development and sales of:

Plastic films and sheets coated with nano-layers of 5 to 20 nm thickness. Coatings are obtained through Atmospheric Pressure - Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (AP-PECVD) of organic precursors. The resulting coated films and sheets are commercialized under the Trade Mark MOLECULAR COATING TM.
Plastic films and sheets functionalized by Atmospheric Pressure – Controlled Atmosphere Plasma (AP – CAP). Functionalizing is performed by grafting of nitrogen, oxygen, silicon or fluorine atoms on the polymer surface chains. Resulting films and sheets are commercialized under the generic name ATOMIC GRAFTING.
Roll to Roll PLUG and PLAY equipment packs for functionalization of plastic films under Atmospheric Pressure – Controlled Atmosphere Plasma (AP – CAP). Equipment packs include 500 to 3600 mm width R2R plasma stations operating at speeds raising from 20 to 300 m/min and ancillary accessories like Gas mixing Cabinets, Automation, and supervision).
